1.0  Overview

        1.1     This update will update the LSI1020/30 and LSI1064/1064e driver on the LS20(8850), HS20(8843,7981) blade  
        
        1.2     Limitations

                -  Problem is that ITMPT driver is not getting attached properly so in order to install the driver the 
			steps need to be followed in section 2.0 Installation and stup procedures.

        1.3     Problem(s) fixed:
                - Add IOCTL support to the driver to support event notification when ServeRAID Manager is used.

        1.4.    Level of Recommendations and Prerequisites for the update:

                - Sun Solaris 10 SP1

2.0  Installation and setup instructions

       This driver will update the Sun Solaris LSI driver 

       2.1   Performing the code update 
       _______________________________________
       
            - Install the OS using the inbuilt driver from the CD.
            - Remove the ITMPT driver that was installed with the operating system
            - Unload the mpt driver. "rem_drv mpt" Should give a message that it is in use and will be unloaded on a reboot.
	    - #tar lsi_dd_mpt_5.06_solaris10_i386.tar
            - Install the ITMPT driver using the following method #pkgadd -d .
            - Reboot the system

            - Install the OS using the inbuilt driver from the CD.
            - Remove the ITMPT driver that was installed with the operating system
            - Unload the mpt driver. "rem_drv mpt" Should give a message that it is in use and will be unloaded on a reboot.
	    - #tar lsi_dd_mpt_5.06_solaris10_i386.tar
            - Install the ITMPT driver using the following method #pkgadd -d .
            - Reboot the system
