The executable (delvadap.exe) will remove the necesary string entry in the Win2000 system registry which will prevent the Virtual failover driver from being reinstalled after the user uninstalls the ServeRAID adapter from the Device Manager. 1.1 Overview about this code delvadap.exe is a simple executable that only removes the string entry in the system registry. Open on "Computer Management" in the Control Panel. 2. Click on the "Device Manager". 3. Click on the "SCSI and RAID controllers" to expand it. 4. Right click on the "IBM Netfinity ServeRaid XX Controller". 5. Click "Uninstall". Follow the Uninstall. 6. After it uninstalls right click on "IBM Netfinity ServeRaid Failover Virtual Adapter". 7. Click "Uninstall". Follow the Uninstall. 8. After it uninstalls run Delvadap.exe. Note: This can be ran from the local hard drive or a floppy disk. 9.
