INTRODUCTION:

This document contains instructions for updating the SCSI BIOS level to 3.10.0
on the PCI Ultra160 adapters.


Change history:
The Flash6 utility has been modified so that it will not enable memory access bit 
in the command register when the memory base address is set to 0 by the utility 
(i.e. in this case, the memory enable bit is not set in the Broadcom Command 
register).


 
MAKING THE DISKETTE:


To make the Installation Diskette, insert a pre-formated diskette in the diskette 
drive bay and run U160F6.exe.  Type in the drive letter of the diskette bay and
select enter and follow the screen instructions.

UsING THE UPDATE DISKETTE: 

Boot to the newly created Installation Diskette the SCSI BIOS update process is 
fully automated.  An installation message will post "success" when completed.
