IBM 10/100 ETHERNET PCI ADAPTER DRIVER 2 OF 2 V1.47 This directory on the IBM 10/100 EtherJet PCI Adapter v1.47 Drivers Diskette contains the following: - this README.TXT file - a self-extracting PKZIP file containing three SCO driver binary files for the IBM 10/100 EtherJet PCI Adapters; the name of this PKZIP file is IBMFESCO.EXE To "explode" the self-extracting file: - copy the file IBMFESCO.EXE to your PC's hard drive - enter IBMFESCO at your DOS prompt The file IBMFESCO.EXE will "explode" into three binary files - IBMFE130.IMG : the binary image for the SCO Open Desktop 3.0 Driver for the IBM 10/100 EtherJet PCI Adapters. Driver version 1.3.0 - IBM130.VOL : the binary image for the SCO Open Server 5.0 Driver for the IBM 10/100 EtherJet PCI Adapters. Driver version 1.3.0 - IBMFE.PKG : the binary image for the SCO UnixWare 2.1 Driver for the IBM 10/100 EtherJet PCI Adapters. Driver version 2.3.0 Installation of these files is as described in the appropriate SCO product documentation. You may wish to copy each file to an individual DOS-formatted diskette and then read the file into a SCO system using the appropriate copy command. Once this is done, the image can be converted to a SCO driver diskette using the appropriate command. Then this new SCO diskette can be used as the driver install diskette for the normal SCO driver installation process. Note that the file IBMFE130.IMG will not fit on a 1.44 M diskette. You may need to copy this file to your SCO 3.0 system using a network transfer. These SCO drivers are also put to this FTP server: ftp://lansupport.raleigh.ibm.com/incoming OR: ftp://ftp.networking.ibm.com/incoming This 'incoming' directory is hidden, so you need to specify the exact filename for each of the driver: ibmfe130.img for SCO Open Desktop 3.0 ibm130.vol for SCO Open Server 5.0 ibmfe.pkg for Unixware 2.x For example, to get ibmfe.pkg from the Web, do: ftp://ftp.networking.ibm.com/incoming/ibmfe.pkg
