       1.0   Overview:
       ---------------
	Slim DVD-ROM drives (firmware 0L02) are not recognized by BIOS which will cause bootable DVD+R media to not work properly.  This new firmware (0L03) will fix this problem.

             1.1   Overview about this code
		This self-extracting disk image will install new firmware on the Slim DVD-ROM drive.

		IBM recommends this update to customers who has Slim DVD-ROM drive part number 24P3638 with firmware 0L02.

		Firmware update to fix problem where bootable DVD+R media are not recognized by drive.  Same IBM part number 24P3638.

             3.1 - Download file.  Execute in a Windows or DOS environment to make diskette from the image file.
		- Boot from diskette
		- Follow instructions on the screen.

		- For Unattended Mode, please update the AUTOEXEC.BAT file from the diskette and modify the following line:
			from "fw" to "fw /a"
	
		- Reboot with the diskette in the floppy drive for the changes to take affect.
