1.0  Overview

This package contains the Windows device driver for the IBM eserver 
xSeries 450.

This package is created by PackageForTheWeb, which allows users
to be able to extract all files and directories into either the
default destination provided or any drive destination the users
wish to specify.

This release contains the following software programs:


BCM570x Miniport Driver for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 64 Bit 
Edition - b57xp64.sys 
Refer to the RELEASE.TXT file on the installation CD in the 
\Windows2003\64Bit subdirectory for latest changes.

   Problems fixed since previous version:
   ======================================
   
   - Ndis Driver takes too long to initialize.
   - 5704 intermittently will not auto-neg link at 1gb.
   - Added support for dynamic 10/100 or 10/100/1000 phy auto-neg
     advertising for certain platforms.
   - Added workaround for >4gb memory errata for 5704 running under
     ia64.
   - Fixed problem with link down being reported if link was 
     acquired during driver initialization.
   - Extended wait for link up during resume from Standby/Hibernation
     to fix packet drop issue in WHQL Standby/Hibernate testing.
   - Fixed intermittent blue screen if there is a link status change
     during driver unload.
   - Fixed intermittent blue screen problem during driver init if the
     device is sharing an interrupt.
   - Corrected support for legacy bootcode that doesn't support eeprom
     version information. This problem was causing WakeOnLan
     configuration problems.
   - Fixed ASF hanging when system is going to standby/hibernate.
