       1.0  Installation Procedure
       ____________________

             1.  Log on the system as an administrator or with an account which has
                  administrator privileges on the system.

             2.  From the MAIN group in the Program Manager window, start the "Control
                  Panel" program.

             3.  Start the "Display" control panel applet program. 

             4.  If the driver has never been installed on the system, select the button
                  labeled "Change Display Type...".  From the "Display Type" dialog box,
                  select the "Change..." button.  From the "Select Device" dialog box,
                  select the "Other..." button. 

             5.  At this point, specify the path to the new driver and press the <ENTER>
                   key:

                   Example:  a:\

             6.   From the "Select Device" dialog box, select the resolution you would like.
                   Select the "Install" button.  Windows NT Setup will copy the miniport
                   driver and the display driver to the proper directories on your system.

             7.   The "Windows NT Setup" program will display a dialog box asking you to
                    enter the path where the actual files exist.  Enter the same path and
                    press the <ENTER> key:

                    Example:  a:\

             8.    If you are instead prompted with a question to use 'Current' or 'New'
                   drivers, select 'New', then enter the path.

             9.    Reboot the system after exiting the "Windows NT Setup" program.

            10.  After the system is rebooted, you will be able to go back into the Control
                    Panel Display applet and select and test an alternate screen resolution.

       2.0  Changing the Video Settings
       __________________________

             To change the video settings:

              1.  Start Windows NT.

              2.  Click on the START button, select SETTINGS, and then click 
                   CONTROL PANEL.

              3.  Double-click on the DISPLAY icon.  The Display Properties window
                   appears.

              4.  In the Display Properties window, click on the SETTINGS tab.

              5.  Make the desired changes to any of the color palette, font size,
                   desktop area, or refresh frequency; then click on TEST, OK, and
                   then YES.

              6.  When the changes are satisfactory, click on APPLY and then YES to
                   resize the display dynamically.


       3.0  Setting the System to VGA Mode
       ______________________________

             To set your system to VGA mode:

              1.  Start Windows NT.

              2.  Click on the START button, select SETTINGS, and then click on
                   CONTROL PANEL.

              3.  Double-click on the DISPLAY icon.  The Display Properties window
                   appears.

              4.  In the Display Properties window, click on the SETTINGS tab.

              5.  Click on the DISPLAY TYPE button.  The Display Type window
                   appears.

              6.  Under Adapter Type, click on the CHANGE button.

              7.  Under Manufacturers, click on STANDARD DISPLAY TYPES; under
                   Display, click on VGA COMPATIBLE DISPLAY ADAPTER; then click
                   on OK.

              8.  Insert the appropriate Windows diskettes or CD-ROM, if requested.

              9.  Click on OK, CLOSE, CLOSE, and then YES to restart your computer.
