This file describes the contents of an accompanying upload, eckelt01.zip.

eckelt01.zip contains the source code for Bruce Eckel's new book "Thinking in C++" which has only just become available in England (as of 17/5/95).  He states in it "The source code is copyrighted freeware, distributed as a single package. You should be able to find it on many bulletin boards...internet nodes.....This means you may freely share the package, post it on bulletin boards and the internet ......

However, he initially only loaded it to America Online.

I obtained it from Steve Cox of Ohio State University (who obtained it from AOL and left a message in comp.lang.c++)

The file includes a copyright notice which you should read, ( allowing the code to be used in shareware, but not to be included in printed documentation without permission). See the document for the fine print.
