DESCRIPTION:
This package contains a DS 6.8 SP1 patch for the supported Blade Workstation 
models and supported operating systems. 

This patch allows deployment of HP Blade Workstation Client Embedded Operating 
System images without having to capture the original image with the raw:1 
option. It does automatic fix up of alignment on fat partitions.

Without the patch:
After deploying an atirisbwc*.img file, RDeploy returns an "Image processing 
complete" message, but on reboot, the client shows the following error message: 
"This is not a bootable disk. Please insert a bootable floppy and press any key 
to try again."

Before this patch, the only workaround was to install the client using a 
bootable USB key, and then capture the image with: rdeployt -mu -f -raw:1 
filename.img 
Then deploy it with: rdeployt -md -f filename.img
However, this method does not allow for preserving configuration settings 
because raw partitions cannot be resized.

This patch resolves this issue.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 
1. Download the SoftPaq file to the hard drive for the Altiris server.

2. Unzip and extract the .zip file.

3. Replace the rdeploy and rdeployt files in the RDeploy directory for the 
desired preboot environment(s). For example, for the Linux preboot environment 
they are installed to default paths:
- Replace C:\Program Files\Altiris\eXpress\Deployment 
Server\Rdeploy\Linux\rdeployt with Rdeploy\Linux\rdeployt from the zip file.

4. From the Start menu, select Altiris, then select Deployment Solution, then 
select Configuration.
- Restart any Sessions, Consoles, or servers that are currently running.
