INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the .tgz file to a directory on your hard drive.

NOTE: If the downloaded file ends in anything other then .tgz, rename the file
so it ends with the extension .tgz.

2. To unpack the .tgz file, at the prompt type:
'tar -xvzf'

NOTE: To perform this installation, you must be the ROOT user with no X-server
running (init 3).

3. To check for existing 'fglrx_...' packages, at prompt type:
'rpm -qa | grep fgl'

4. To check for packages starting with ''fire'', at the prompt type:
'rpm -qa | grep fire'

5. Remove any previous package, for example, at the prompt type:
'rpm -e fireglrx'

6. To install the new package, at the prompt type:
'rpm -ivh fireglrx-xxx.rpm'

NOTE: Step 6 installs the package file onto the system, but does not configure
the new driver. To configure the driver, continue with Step 7.

7. To configure the new package, execute the script by using the following
command:
'/opt/hp/graphics/ati/configure'

NOTE: Step 7 places/builds and configures the ATI accelerated graphics module.
It also moves aside any current XF86Config-4 or xorg.conf file and puts a
standard ATI file in place.

For more information, known issues, advanced installation options, and example
X configuration files and options, see the documentation provided in this
package at: '/opt/hp/graphics/ati/'.
