FIXES: 
With the use of plug in cards and on board controller devices containing 
bridges can cause the bus number to be greater than 15.  The previous versions 
of driver had a 'bus' value limitation and detection of the card/devices 
attached in Windows OS's (Windows 2000 and Windows XP).

HOW TO USE: 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. The 
self-extracting file stores the drivers in the C:\SWSETUP\FASTTRAK_1.1.30.34 
directory.

3. In Windows, select the Device Manager and then select Other Devices or SCSI 
and RAID Controllers. 

4. Right-click the yellow explanation point that is displayed beside the Mass 
Storage Controller, and then select Properties. 

5. Click the Driver tab and then click Update the Driver.

6. When the Hardware Update Wizard window is displayed, select ''Install from a 
list or specific location (Advanced).'' Check the ''Include this location in 
the search'' box and then enter ''C:\SWSETUP\FASTTRAK_1.1.30.34\'' or browse 
for this location. 

7. Select the file "fasttx2k.inf" for the Promise FastTrak S150 TX4 Series SATA 
RAID controller driver, and then select NEXT. 

8. When the wizard indicates, click Finish to finish installing the operating 
system driver for the Promise FastTrak S150 TX4 Series SATA RAID Controller.

9. Click Close in the driver window. A new device, ''OS'' Promise FastTrak S150 
TX4 Series SATA RAID Controller, should now be detected and displayed under 
Device Manager/SCSI and RAID Controllers.
