DESCRIPTION: |
This package creates files that contain a binary image for the System BIOS (ROM) for the listed notebook models with 68BAS Family ROM. This package is used to flash the System ROM on target notebooks in a network, and it requires System Software Manager (SSM). NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F10 on the target notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then viewFile/System Information.IMPORTANT: Microsoft Windows 98 Operating System users must use SSM verion 1.62A for remote flashing. Do NOT use the new SSM version 1.70A. |

HOW TO USE: |
NOTE: The System BIOS image must be used with SSM in order to actually flash the System BIOS on a target notebook in a network. 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. 2. Copy the SoftPaq to the file store.
