Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Insert a blank 1.44-MB diskette in drive A:. This diskette will be erased by the SoftPaq. Before proceeding, make certain the diskette is not write protected, does not contain viruses, and does not contain data or critical files. 3. From the download directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. NOTE: After the diskette has been created, the .EXE file downloaded in Step 1 can be deleted, if desired. 4. To install the video BIOS update, insert the bootable diskette into the A: drive of the workstation to be updated and restart the workstation. The workstation boots from the diskette. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions. 6. Once the video BIOS update is complete, remove the diskette and cycle power to the workstation.
