HOW TO USE: 
1. Download and unpack the TAR & GZIPPED archive by using 'tar -xvzf 
hpalsa-2.4.18.26_0.9.0.6-2.i386.tgz.

2. Install the binary rpm, hpalsa-2.4.18.26_0.9.0.6-2.i386.rpm using the RedHat 
Package Manger. To do this, with root privilages, type at a console prompt:

'rpm -qva | grep hpalsa' to find out if you already have a version of the 
bcm5700 driver installed. If you do, use:

'rpm -U hpalsa-2.4.18.26_0.9.0.6-2.i386.rpm

otherwise use:

'rpm -ivh hpalsa-2.4.18.26_0.9.0.6-2.i386.rpm'

3. echo "modprobe sound-slot-0" >> /etc/rc.d/rc.local

4. Reboot and configure the hpalsa audio driver if Kudzu prompts you. 

5. Begin using the updated driver.
