DESCRIPTION:  This softpaq provides a utility for removing non-present device entries from 
the StorageWorks NAS Device. Non-Present devices are those devices which have an entry 
in the plug and play list but are not actually currently installed in the server.


Enhancements/Fixes:

The utility resolves an issue where unnecessary devices were placed in the plug and play 
registry during the OS image build. These entries where causing issues with NAS devices, 
where network cards were not be initialized properly. The fix is recommended
for all Windows based V2 StorageWorks NAS Products.

HOW TO USE:


1. Create a directory on the server. Download the SoftPaq to that directory.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Press "SpaceBar" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 
A directory named after the softpaq will be created containing the files.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. To run the utility, open a command prompt, change to the created directory 
and type 'cscript cleanit.vbe'.  

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
