DESCRIPTION: 
This is a tarball containing HP Insight Foundation Agent image for use on hp ProLiant Servers running SCO UnixWare 7/SCO OpenServer 6. HP Insight Management Agents perform
in-depth monitoring of a device's state by collecting and measuring key parameters on
the device. The HP Insight Foundation Agent collects information for the host server
including clustering, software version and external MIB status. It also generates SNMP
alarms when thresholds on key parameters are exceeded.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the tarball FdtnAgent-750a-uw7_osr6.tar.Z to the local directory 
   on your hard drive, 
	for eg /tmp.
	
	NOTE: You can verify that you have valid HP Insight Foundation Agent by
	executing the UNIX "sum -r" command:
	# sum -r /tmp/FdtnAgent-750a-uw7_osr6.tar.Z

	The following sum value should be displayed:
	24531 FdtnAgent-750a-uw7_osr6.tar.Z

2. Change to the downloaded directory. Uncompress and untar the tarball using 
   the commands :
	uncompress FdtnAgent-750a-uw7_osr6.tar.Z
   	tar -xvf FdtnAgent-750a-uw7_osr6.tar
   This creates a directory "cmafdtn" under /tmp and extracts the following files:
	cmafdtn.tar	     - 	tar image of the HP Insight Foundation Agent
	instfdtn	     -	script to install the HP Insight Foundation Agent
	license.txt	     -	file containing End User License Agreement
	RELEASENOTESfdtn.txt -  file containing information on supported OS versions,
			   	hp ProLiant servers and steps to install 
				HP Insight Foundation Agent.
	  
3. Execute the following commands to install the HP Insight Foundation Agent:
	cd cmafdtn
	sh ./instfdtn
   Follow the on-screen instructions.
  
4. After the installation is complete, you may delete the downloaded file 
   FdtnAgent-750a-uw7_osr6.tar and the files unpacked in step 2 from your hard drive.
	cd /
	rm -rf /tmp/cmafdtn /tmp/FdtnAgent-750a-uw7_osr6.tar

5. Reboot the server
	init 6.
