HOW TO USE:

1.  Download this .ZIP file on your server.

2.  Unzip the contents to a directory on your hard drive.

3.  Install the bcm5700 source package as below,  

	[root@localhost]# rpm -ivh bcm5700.src.rpm 
	  1:bcm5700      ########################################### [100%] 
 
4.  Change to the directory where the bcm5700.spec file is located,
 
	[root@localhost]# cd /usr/src/redhat/SPECS 

 
5.  Compile the driver source code, 
 
	[root@localhost]# rpmbuild -ba bcm5700.spec
	  ...... 
	  ...... 
 
6.  Install the driver to the corresponding directory,
    Note that the --force option is needed.
 
	[root@localhost]# cd /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386 
	[root@localhost]# rpm -ivh --force bcm5700-6.2.17-1.i386.rpm
	  Preparing...   ########################################### [100%] 
	  1:bcm5700      ########################################### [100%] 
 
7.  Modify the file /etc/modules.conf and remove all lines that reference the tg3 driver, and
    then insert the following 2 lines into the file so the bcm5700 driver will be 
    loaded at boot:

    alias eth0 bcm5700
    alias eth1 bcm5700
