DESCRIPTION:  This ZIP file contains the Teac CD224E IDE CD-ROM firmware update
              for the HP ProLiant DL140.  The new firmware version is 9.9A.

NEW FEATURES:  None.

PROBLEMS FIXED:  Corrected DMA issues that cause some OS to lock-up when accessing the drive.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download this ZIP file to a temporary directory.

2.  Prepare a bootable media such as a floppy or a supported USB flash drive with DOS on it.

3.  Unzip the contents to the bootable media from step#2.

4.  Boot the DL140 server from the bootable media.

5.  At the DOS prompt, type CD224V99 and press the ENTER key.

6.  The program will determine whether the connected CD-ROM drive needs to be updated
    or not.  If so, the drive will be flashed with the new firmware automatically.

7.  Remove the bootable media and reboot the server after the new firmware has been flashed.
