INTRODUCTION:
The fastest file security software in town. Folder Lock can lock your files using ascii conversion techniques, in seconds, even if GBs of data is kept in its locker. Its very easy to use.
IMPORTANT:
Extract the zip file before using Folder Lock.
FIRST README:
After unzipping Folder Lock, run the EXE file. Set new password and confirm it. Make sure you'll never forget this password. After setting password, a folder namely Locker would appear, this is your personal locker, you can keep all your secret stuff in it. To lock your personal locker containing secret files, exit program and then choose the menu which says Lock and Exit Program, good, you know what happened? your files just got vanished, they are unaccessable now, unreadable, unwritable, undeletable and virus protected. Oh! so now you want your files back, not a problem, run Folder Lock and type the correct password, and you'll get your files again, simple, isn't it.
FEATURES:
Why only Folder Lock? Because it takes little time to lock your files unlike other file security tools using ascii code conversion techniques and you're not required to run any executable at startup saving you a lot of memory. Folder Lock is handy and easy to use. To get more out of it, see the tips section.
TIPS:
To make your files more secure follow these instructions:
1) You can rename the Folder Lock executable file to any thing like "Calculator" or "Software" etc. so that its not easy to reveal that you use this software and this ensures your privacy.
2) You can unzip your files to a very unique location that is too deep in sub directories, where you can extract the f_locker.zip
3) You can even rename "F_Locker" directory to something like "Wastes" or "Format" etc. Note: Never rename the "Locker" folder inside the F_Locker folder or your files would not be locked.
4) You can also disable master key option, which disables the registration key use to unlock files. This is useful if there is doubt that someone who knows registration key can access your files. But in this case, if you forget your password, you'll not be able to use master key.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
1)If you forgot your password, well not a big problem, enter the registration key of the Folder Lock and you can unlock your files, registration key is like a master key, so never worry, now you know how important it is to register Folder Lock.
2) If the master key option is disabled, you'll not be able to access your files using master key. Then only your password will work.
3)Do not delete or move dstature.czs and estature.czs files which come with the software, but if you have deleted these files then extract them from the setup zipped file because without these files your locker would not open.
4)If you come up with an empty personal locker even if it did contain files, then it is because of DOS inaccessiblity or probably you are running in safe mode, don't worry, run the software in normal environment and you'll get your files.

REGISTER:
Folder Lock is a shareware program, you may copy and use it freely, but if you like it and decide to use it then you are legally bound to register this copy. If you run Folder Lock more than 30 times, it will show up a registration warning every time it starts. To avoid this warning, please register your copy. An another advantage of registering is that, in case, you forget your password, no need to worry, the registration key is like a master key. You can use it to decrypt your files. Click Register button for more details.
UNINSTALLER:
You can uninstall the program only from within the program, by clicking uninstall button, after entering the correct password. Beware, deleting Folder Lock manually or moving any files may cause severe problems and if you do so, you'll never get rid of it, since this folder can't be removed. Note, uninstaller can't remove the following files and must be deleted manually after uninstall.
1) Uninstall.exe
2) Msvbvm60.dll and;
3) Your personal locker, if not needed.
