Welcome to the world of tracking your calorie intake, seven food values of each food item as well as your exercise expenditure over a 30-day period. There are many facets of this application that allow you to completly customize your food and exercise choices. You receive a variety of selections from 34 different exercises (plus add/edit/delete feature), and the creating of meals that saves you the time and hassle of selecting individual food items for each meal. You have over 5,900 different food items from which to choose from (plus add/edit/delete feature). |
The UltimateCalorieMeter II allows you to maintain current personal information which
is used to calculate information in the summaries and exercise tables.
You should fill in this information before you begin using either program.
You will find that many of the general target goals are found in the
Personal screen. This screen generates your active caloric needs and your
present body mass. By using your active caloric needs ("Daily Calorie Avg.
to Achieve Target Weight") you have a benchmark to use in achieving a
desired weight. The Body Mass Index (BMI) ratio has received a great
deal of press lately as a useful tool in comparing your height to your
weight. In addition, a long standing height/weight chart
is used to indicate what your ideal weight range should be, given your
height and age.
The UltimateCalorieMeter II is your completly customizable and individual tracker of food consumption and
exercises. It is your daily program for consuming meals, beverages
etc. and inputting daily exercise routines. The UltimateCalorieMeter II allows you
to create meals (from the USDA SR13 table of over 5,900 items), and develop
"Other" or frequently eaten items/beverages you might consume separately as well as
select items on the run that you will eat without the need of having to build a meal.
If you have selected a meal (you have built) and
discover that there are items you have not eaten in this meal, or have not
finished, the Build a Meal feature allows you to customize the meal for that
day (by food item). You can create as many meals as you wish with as
many items as needed, delete meals, view and rename meals.   Also, and here is
one of the great benefits of this program, you can create Meal Menus and choose and
adjust items from the Meal Menu (you created) as you consume on the fly.
Finally, the summary portion of the UltimateCalorieMeter II allows you to view many different details of your food intake. It allows you see what today's totals are, as well as a seven-day and 30-day average of your calories burned in exercise as well as showing your total amount of consumed proteins, fibers, cholesterol, unsaturated fats, total fats and carbohydrates. It allows you to view how you are doing in meeting your active caloric needs if you are trying to reach a desired weight. With these numbers you can see if you need to increase/decrease your intake of food or increase/decrease your caloric expenditure through exercise. The UltimateCalorieMeter II is very customizable. You are allowed to add, edit and delete to the exercise tables and food tables. You can edit the USDA SR-13 food items and add new food items into a "Custom" food group. You also can do a search in the FOOD SEARCH of this document to find where to look up certian food items. We hope you find this application a benefit in meeting your dietary needs while tracking your caloric expenditure through eating and exercises.
