DeskLock V2.5 is an security program for Windows 95, 98, 2000 DeskLock can be configured in several ways one of them is to start up when windows starts, once DeskLock is activated you will need to enter a password to be able to use windows again, DeskLock 2.5 puts a tray icon on your taskbar so that when you walk away from your computer DeskLock can easily be activated, just by one single click on the tray icon. this program has been developed to secure peoples computers from abuse, it will hide and lock the desktop until the valid password is entered. |

Installation is easy, just double click the SETUP.exe program, this will install DeskLock and start it up for first time use, you will be prompted for a password and you will have to reenter it after for confirmation |

Changing the password is, just like changing any option in DeskLock, easy. First (when the program is activated) click the start button to open the options menu, select the 'Change password' option, the screen will change and you will be prompted to enter your old password, after entering the password press the enter (return) key on your keyboard, then enter your new password and again press enter (return), then confirm your password by reentering it and again press enter (return).
To configure DeskLock to start when windows loads press the start button (in the DeskLock program), select the 'auto start' option, then enter your password and the checkbox 'autostart with windows' will light up then put a checkmark in it by clicking on the checkbox.
