* Information about maps *

MAP01

Title: Demi-Vie
Author(s) : Datacore
Build time : 3 days
Editor(s) used : Doom Builder 1.68
Music track : MAP01: Sunset (Alien Vendetta)
Bugs : unknown
Inspiration : AV.wad (MAP01: Sunset)

Author comments : I loved the first Alien Vendetta map so I sometimes like to use it as inspiration for making first maps.
I find the shotgun battles against the archviles very interesting. The title is related to the nukage that we find in the map.

MAP02

Title: Without Scratch
Author(s) : LaButineuse
Build time : 2 Weeks
Editor(s) used : The Ultimate Doom Builder
Music track : Eminem - Under the influence (midi version)
Bugs : unknown
Inspiration : DOOM2.wad

Author comments : My first map i created, it was fun to learn. An abandoned station with many traps. There are fights with various monsters.

MAP03

Title: Glorieux Combat
Author(s) : LaButineuse
Build time : 3 Weeks
Editor(s) used : The Ultimate Doom Builder
Music track : Metallica - The Memory Remains (midi version)
Bugs : unknown
Inspiration : Doom.wad

Author comments : My second map i created.
A classic map for Doom 2 inspired by "The Ultimate Doom : Thy Flesh Consumed" with many traps and secrets.

MAP04

Title: Corrupted Dig Site
Author(s) : Datacore
Build time : 2 Months
Editor(s) used : Doom Builder 1.68
Music track : GWAR - Sick Of You (midi version)
Bugs : unknown
Inspiration : DOOM 3

Author comments : At first I wanted to make a map for Doom 1 with a theme close to E4M3.
Then finally, while replaying the last levels of Doom 3, I said to myself why not try to make a Dig Site populated by demons and corrupted humans.

MAP05

Title: Invincible
Author(s) : Datacore & LaButineuse
Build time : 2 Weeks
Editor(s) used : Doom Builder 1.68 & The Ultimate Doom Builder
Music track : Tool - invincible (midi version)
Bugs : unknown
Inspiration : Medieval castles and meadows

Author comments : "LaButineuse" had tried to make a castle but she is not very comfortable with this kind of structure indoors,
so "Datacore" decided to recreate the first part of the map and then let her mapping partner continue on outdoor areas,
"LaButineuse" being more comfortable creating large natural areas. The music here fits the rhythm of the map very well according to "Datacore".

MAP06

Title: Nature Maudite
Author(s) : LaButineuse
Build time : 2 Weeks
Editor(s) used : The Ultimate DoomBuilder
Music track : Plutonia: Revisited Community Project OST - Symbiotic
Bugs : unknown
Inspiration : Walk in nature, then my garden which is sometimes very messy

Author comments : My most ambitious map, I tried to create a big difficult course, varying the natural environments, it's the first time I've tried to create a big fight with the BFG 9000.

MAP07

Title: Deliverance
Author(s) : Datacore
Build time : 3 Days
Editor(s) used : Doom Builder 1.68
Music track : "DOOM2 - Map23"
Bugs : unknown
Inspiration : Wide open spaces and rocky environments

Author comments : This part was originally intended for map 23 of "Necromantic Thirst" but this area wasn't good enough so I decided to rework it into a sort of large natural arena with big fights.

MAP08

Title: Dernier Espoir
Author(s) : Datacore
Build time : 3 Days
Editor(s) used : Doom Builder 1.68
Music track : Sign of Evil (Redux)" by silentzorah, from Project Redux.
Bugs : unknown
Inspiration : DOOM 2 - No Rest For The Living "Level 8: Tomb Of Malevolence"

Author comments : Perhaps my most beautiful arena map to date, at least I think so. I've always had a bit of difficulty creating big, exciting arena fights,
even though I think I've improved since then thanks to the creation of FLESHARMONIC.
I think this map allows me to close this adventure effectively. I tried to recreate a sad atmosphere, as if the player was "Humanity's last hope".
