All information reported in this SW package are taken
from the Personal CP/M-86 Pocked Guide.

Since the original support is a hardcopy, the whole
manual was retyped by hand to the present form. During
this activity it was chosen to use as output format a simple
text file, but following the convention used in
the HELP.DAT file. For this reason, also the whole guide
was subdivided into two separate files, one for the command
explanation and one for all other information. Both files
contain also simple ESCape sequences just to report
the words in inverse form exactly where in the original
document a bold characters was used.

Together with the text files (.DAT) a related .HLP file
are reported. Unfortunately, they cannot be generated
directly by the HELP.CMD command (with the CREATE option)
due to an old bug. The analogue CDOS command have to be used
instead. The files created in this way can be
still used by the PCP/M-86 HELP command but just for the
display purpose (i.e. the EXTRACT option doesn't work).
In any case, please remember that they have to be called
HELP.HLP and therefore, if present on the same hard disk,
they belong to different user areas (0-15).

To use a new help file (HELP.HLP) immediately, copy it
to the user 0 and set the SYS attribute. Before doing this,
it is recommended to save the default .DAT file as
shown in the following procedure:
i) Go to user area 0:
     USER 0
ii) Create the default .DAT file:
     HELP [EXTRACT]
iii) Rename it for the back-up purpose:
     REN HELP.OLD=HELP.DAT
iv) Erase the old help file:
     SET HELP.HLP [RW]
     ERASE HELP.HLP
v) Copy the new help file from the floppy (A:) to
   the hard disk (B:):
     PIP B:=A:HELP.HLP [RV]

All above files are provided through the image file of
a PCP/M-86 diskette (PGUIDE.IMG). Use the COPYQM utility
(under DOS) to copy the image file to the floppy. Please
remember that, a double density diskette (DD) is needed
instead of a high density (HD) one. If you use a 1.44
floppy drive the simplest way to get it is to cover the
holes (right-bottom side) on a HD diskette (?!).

The following files are provided:
  README.TXT - this file,
PGUIDE.IMG - image file of the PCP/M-86 diskette,
PGUIDE.TXT - text file with the Pocket Guide references
               (on user area 0),
HELP.DAT - text file with the Pocket Guide contents,
1st part: command description (on user area
               0),
HELP.HLP - help file obtained from HELP.DAT (on user
               area 0),
PGUIDE.DAT - text file with Pocket Guide contents,
2nd part (on user area 1),
PGUIDE.HLP - help file obtained from PGUIDE.DAT (on user
               area 1).
