The busted up/bfloat scene is only slightly distorted so you may want to avoid 
using these frames at all. And the extra skins and frames for different damage 
values seems unnessesary even now but it might be funny to see one of these small 
droids flying around, especially after a huge explosion; the only thing to 
survive.

I was also interested in making these droids remote controlled, whereby players 
could pick up one that had been damaged (instead of completely blown up) and carry 
it in inventory. Then the item could be 'used' and flown around with a weak laser 
weapon to shoot, push, or activate buttons far out of reach. Patrol droids would 
be fun in multiplayer since they could be used for recon or perhaps deployed as 
sentries (patrolling sentries =). Let your imagination go wild.
