AlbumPack Plugin & Applications v1.03
This plugin lets you extract songs from MP3 files created by AlbumWrap (http://www.infamus.com/albumwrap/.

You can also create your own AlbumWrap albums using the standard packer method.

It's usable as a lister plugin too, in order to view the contents of an album archive as well as who wrapped it.

We also provide standalone applications for compressing and extracting AlbumWrap archives. Use them when you don't have Total Commander running, or send them (along with the .WCX file) to friends who aren't using Total Commander.

Since the packed albums are fairly large, deleting files from or adding files to an existing archive can be quite slow. This is especially true if the archive is on a removable or network drive, or if the drive don't have enough space to store a temporary copy of the archive.

N.B. This plugin and application makes no checks on the files that you add to an archive. This means that you can add files of any type, although this is not recommended. Other programs reading this kind of archives might or might not unpack them correctly.

We strongly emphasize that these tools are for use on your own material only. We do not in any way condone or promote piracy!

System requirements
The plugin requires Total Commander 5.5+
Both applications require the albumpack.wcx file to operate.

Installation
Install the plugin like this:
  1. Unzip the contents of this archive into a directory (we suggest the Total Commander directory)
  2. Choose Options from the Configuration menu
  3. Select the Packer tab
  4. Click the Configure packer extensions DLLs button
  5. Enter the letters mp3 in the box to the upper right labeled All files with extension (ending with)
  6. Click the New type button
  7. Browse to AlbumPack.wcx in the folder where you unzipped it, and click Open
  8. Click OK to close the Associate dialog, and the other OK button to close the Configuration dialog
Install as a lister plugin like this:
  1. Locate an album archive in Total Commander. Bring it into the Lister with F3. You could view any file, but using an album archive gives more feedback.
  2. Choose Configure from the Options menu
  3. Click the LS-Plugins button
  4. Press the Add button
  5. Browse to the directory with albumpack.wcx
  6. Manually type albumpack.wcx into the filename box - it won't show up in the file list
  7. Click the Open button
  8. Click the OK button to close the Lister Plugins dialog, and the other OK button to close Configure.
If you've done everything right, the garbled display should clear magically into a readable song list.

Install the applications like this (only necesary if you want to run the applications):
  1. Copy the .EXE files to a directory.
  2. Copy albumpack.wcx to the same directory.
  3. Run the setupalbumwrap.exe file if you want icons to be created on the Start menu
You can run the setupalbumwrap.exe program again to uninstall the application settings.
