WF Tribes Armor Classes

Pick your armor at the beginning of the game. At respawn you'll get back the armor and weapons you died with. During pthe game you can still change your armor around at the inventory stations. For more details check out the Renegades mod.

Scout

Weapons: Laser Rifle, Ion Rifle and Targeting Laser

Backpack: Energy Pack

Grenade Type: Concussion

Beacon Type: Pulse sensor

Special abilities: Pick Pocket. Rub up against an enemy to take his weapons and ammunition.

Comments: The fastest and most lightly armored. The most energy efficient. With an energy pack they can leap over mountains. Can carry at least two pulse sensors (one deployable, one beacon), possible more with an ammo pack. Watch out for mines and turrets. Can Snipe with Laser Rifle and Energy Pack.


Spy

Weapons: Blaster, Grenade Launcher, Magnum and Targeting Laser

Backpack: Cloaking Device

Grenade Type: Plastique Explosives. Throw and run. You have 15 seconds...

Beacon Type: Satchel charge. Disguised as a camera. Large blast radius. Access them through your command screen menu.

Special abilities: Cloaking. Use cloak pack with your energy to become invisible except for red triangle if enemy is close. Motion sensors and cameras will detect you.

Comments: Use your Satchel to take out the enemies radar in one pop. Use the Satchel charges to waste generators. Can snipe with Magnum.


Sniper

Weapons: Chaingun, Sniper Rifle, Dart Rifle and Targeting Laser

Backpack: Ammo Pack

Grenade Type: Holograms. Detonate eventually or if approached by enemy.

Beacon Type: Sensor Jammer.

Special abilities: Can use the Cybernetic Laser Pack. Upon activation, it will automatically fire to your point of aim.

Comments: Deploy your Sensor Jammer and pick off the enemy with Sniper and Dart Rifles.


Mercenary

Weapons: Blaster, Chaingun, Plasma Gun, Grenade Launcher, Disc Launcher and Targeting Laser

Backpack: Repair Pack

Grenade Type: Normal.

Beacon Type: Speed boosters.

Special abilities: Spawns with the Repair Pack to fix stuff.

Comments: Pretty much the default class in Renegades except he's got the Repair Pack at spawn.


Burster

Weapons: Grenade Launcher, Mortar, Rocket Launcher, Flame Thrower and Targeting Laser

Backpack: Sensor Jammer Pack

Grenade Type: Incendiary.

Beacon Type: Normal.

Special abilities: Suicide Det Pack. Deploy. Huge explosion 20 seconds later. Commit suicide with CTRL K and it blows up with you.

Comments: Set enemies on fire and drop this big-ass Det Pack thing in their base.


Engineer

Weapons: Chaingun, Rocket Launcher, Railgun, Targeting Laser and Engineer Repair Gun

Backpack: Ammo Pack

Grenade Type: EMP

Beacon Type: Camera

Special abilities: Free Repair Gun. Can deploy all of the turrets and nearly everything else. Command Laptop, Inventory Stations, teleports, the works...

Comments: Get the hell out of your base with an Inventory Station. Set up camp outside and pick off the bastards with your Railgun.


Alien

Weapons: Shockwave Cannon, Ion Rifle, Thunderbolt and Targeting Laser

Backpack: Regeneration Pack

Grenade Type: Nerve Gas

Beacon Type: Cloaking

Special abilities: Can use Regeneration Pack (self healing), and Auto-ELF pack (a walking bug-zapper)

Comments: Use the ELF weapons at close range then heal yourself with the Regeneration Pack. Don't forget to toss those wacky nerve grenades around.


Cyborg

Weapons: Grenade Launcher, Mortar, Shockwave Cannon, Vulcan, Thunderbolt and Targeting Laser

Backpack: Stealthshield Pack

Grenade Type: Heavy Grenade

Beacon Type: Shield

Special abilities: Heavily armored. Can use Auto-Missile Pack which fires until turned off or out of ammo.

Comments: Heavily armored. Use the Shield beacons and Stealthshield Pack at the same time while gunning down hordes of the evil empire.
